The event will be followed by a cocktail reception. \nPlease note that this event is in-person only. This year’s theme is “Lessons and Priorities in EU Financial Services – What’s the Agenda for Pensions?”. \nThe program will include a discussion on the EIOPA’s advice on the IORP II review with confirmed speakers: \n•            Didier Millerot\, Head of Unit Insurance and Pensions at the European Commission \n•            Justin Wray\, Head of the Policy Department at EIOPA. \nThe conference is free of charge. All C&S members are welcome. DESCRIPTION:The European Retirement Week (ERW)\, taking place annually in the last week of November\, provides a platform for a wide range of stakeholders to debate the future of pensions in Europe and raise citizens’ awareness of the need to save for retirement and achieve pension adequacy. \nPlease find the link to register for the European Retirement Week launch event taking place on 27 November 2023: Personal Information – European Retirement Week launch event 2023 (cvent.com). \nThe participating associations are AGE Platform Europe\, BETTER FINANCE\, CBBA-Europe\, AEIP\, EBF\, EFAMA\, European Public Real Estate Association\, ETS Association\, FESE\, INREV\, Insurance Europe\, Invest Europe and PensionsEurope. \nThis year\, European Retirement Week will kick off on 27 November 2023. DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, November 30\, 2023 – 14:00 to 16:00\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn 30 November 2023\, the European Association of Paritarian Institutions – AEIP and PensionsEurope are organising a joint webinar on the topic of Closing the communication pension gap – How to provide better information to members and beneficiaries? \nThe event will bring together pension fund representatives\, experts\, researchers\, policymakers\, and stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and challenges for pension funds on how to provide better information to members and beneficiaries. \nThe first panel will focus on the EU legislative agenda on the topic of improving communication for members and beneficiaries. \nThe second panel will cover recent relevant European initiatives and highlight pension funds’ best practices and actions on what makes good communication for participants. \nThe joint event is part of the third edition of the European Retirement Week\, which will take place from 27 November to 1 December 2023 as an initiative of 14 European associations.
