PensionsEurope Welcomes Andreea Lungu as New Policy Adviser
Brussels, 16 September 2025 — PensionsEurope is pleased to announce the appointment of Andreea Lungu as its new Policy Adviser.
In this role, Andreea will contribute to the development, analysis, and implementation of policy strategies aligned with our mission and goals.
Her expertise will help shape evidence-based recommendations and strengthen our engagement with key stakeholders, with a focus on the most relevant sustainable finance issues of interest, among other topics.
Andreea brings a strong background in public policy, with a particular focus on banking regulatory affairs. Her prior experience includes working for the banking industry sector as part of the European Savings and Retail Banking Group, the European Banking Authority (EBA) in Paris as well as an European Affairs Advisor for the Romanian Presidency to the Council of the EU.
